On 25th April 2015, Nepal was hit by a devastating earthquake followed by a powerful aftershock on 12th May. The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) currently advises that it is now safe to travel to the majority of Nepal. The tourism infrastructure is recovering and we are now able to offer trips to Nepal again.

Himalaya Lodge, Ghandruk

Stay at Himalaya Lodge

The first thing you notice on arrival at Himalaya Lodge is the massive peaks of Annapurna South (7,219m) and its neighbour Hiunchuili (6,441m). The 11 rooms are simple but very comfortable, and the fantastic staff ensures that you are fed (delicious home made food), watered, and very well looked after.

Himalaya Lodge, Nepal

Our rating: Simple

The first thing you notice on arrival at Himalaya Lodge is the massive peaks of Annapurna South (7,219m) and its neighbour Hiunchuili (6,441m) towering over the valley.

The sunrise views from here (enhanced by a steaming cup of tea, brought to your door) must be some of the most spectacular in Nepal.

The 11 rooms are simple but very comfortable, and the fantastic staff ensures that you are fed (delicious home-made food), watered and very well looked after.
