A short drive from the mountain town of Nelson, lies this small wilderness experience. Logden Lodge is a collection of cabins set in the forest build from local wood. The cabins offer privacy, flexibility and comfort for your stay in the Kootenay region.
The owners, Annelies and Paul, have designed each cabin with much care and detail and each has its own theme, showcasing some of the artefacts they have collected on their travels. Logden Lodge offers a tranquil stay and as such there are no TVs but Wi-Fi is included. While the lodge is designed to be an escape into nature, they can arrange in-cabin massages, or guided walks on a request basis.

This is a hidden gem located in the Kootenay wilderness that gives a sense of isolation and privacy in a classic, comfortable log cabin.

Rooms
There are four beautiful cabins spaced out in the forest all built from of fir, white pine and cedar wood. All are self-catered with fully equipped kitchens, wood burning stoves, a wooden table and a private outdoor fire pit. Each cabin has a spacious sitting room, a private open balcony and two bedrooms, equipped with queen, king or twin beds. The cosy experience is complete with plush linens and bathrobes.
Location
Tucked away in the Kootenay Rocky Mountains and a twenty-minute drive from Nelson, you'll find Logden Lodge. The lodge itself is set in the wilderness but there is plenty to do throughout the seasons. Nelson and the wider region is an outdoor lover’s paradise with hiking and mountain biking routes, kayaking on Kootenay Lake, fishing and golfing. The lodge are happy to arrange several tours for you including fishing and a historic tour.
Food and drink
As the lodge is self-catered, there is no on-site restaurant. The local Ymir supermarket is only a short drive away but we suggest visiting the larger supermarkets in either Salmo or Nelson if you choose to self-cater. Essentials such as salt, pepper and oil are provided in your cabin. Logden Lodge offers the option of providing catering for special events. A variety of restaurants are located nearby in Nelson.
