Frequently asked questions

  • We ask anyone currently traveling to contact us a few weeks before they are due to return, so we can consider your application in line with the vacancies we have at that time.

  • Yes, we welcome speculative applications — feel free to send this to us via email to Please let us know what area of work you are interested in within your application so that it is passed to the relevant department(s) for their consideration. 

  • Register your email address to receive regular updates on new jobs as they are added.

  • We already deal with a select number of specially chosen agencies. We do not accept speculative contact from agencies at this time.

  • Our office hours are 9am to 5:30pm Mondays to Thursdays and 9am to 5pm Fridays. Some positions require employees to work weekly evening and weekend shifts on a rotating basis.

  • Our interviews are scheduled using Microsoft Teams and for most roles will be scheduled for 60 or 90 minutes, depending on the position you are being interviewed for. Further details will be confirmed before attending your interview.

  • Here's an outline of the process for the Travel Specialist/Manager, Global Travel Advisor and Sales Operations Specialist roles: 

    If your application demonstrates the applicable skill set and travel experience, you can expect to hear from our Recruitment department asking you to complete a more detailed video interview. This is an opportunity to tell us a bit about yourself, your understanding of the role and why you want to work for Audley. Don’t be afraid to show off and really convince us why this is the right role for you!

    The next stage will be for you to meet us for a virtual interview that will be scheduled using Microsoft Teams. The interview will be scheduled for either 60 or 90 minutes depending on the role that you have applied for. 

    Our interviews are comprehensive but conversational, we look for candidates who are inspired by our values and driven to be successful.

    We truly believe you are interviewing us just as much as we are interviewing you, so please ask questions at any stage throughout the process!

    Here's an outline of the process for the non-sales roles:

    Following your application, if you are successful you will then be invited to a phone interview to discuss your experience and find out more about the role you have applied for. We will arrange a time that suits so you have some time to prepare, and the call usually lasts around 20-30 minutes.

    If you are successful in the phone interview we will invite you to a virtual interview that will be scheduled using Microsoft Teams and depending on the role there could be a short exercise to complete.

  • At Audley we are invested in supporting young people by providing opportunities to experience and develop skills for a successful career in the travel industry.

    We currently work closely with our local communities through the schools in Oxfordshire and West London to offer work experience in both of our UK offices.

    For work placements we are in the process if building relationships with local colleges and universities. The aim is to provide opportunities to develop those newly acquired skills and gain experience alongside industry experts in our successful working environment across the three offices in Witney, London and Boston (US).
