Arrive in Brazil today and take a connecting flight to the Iguaçu Falls. You will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel in a private vehicle. This afternoon is yours to explore, take a wander up close to the falls on the Brazilian side, or even fly over in a helicopter.
-
Enjoy a half-day private guided tour of the Argentinian side of the falls, which offers a great contrast to the Brazilian side. In the afternoon you could visit the bird park near your hotel to spot some superb Brazilian species.
-
Today you head north to the intriguing city of Manaus, once referred to as the Paris of America during its heyday during the rubber boom, this city is now one of faded grandeur.
-
This morning you have more time to explore the city, why not visit the impressive Opera House. In the afternoon journey by road and river into the heart of the Amazon for your stay at Anavilhanas Lodge.
-
Enjoy excursions into the jungle; you'll try out some piranha fishing and try and spot the pink river dolphin.
-
Another day in the jungle, meet a local family and weave your way through the waterways by canoe.
-
Today you will return to Manaus to continue with your trip. You'll fly south to one of the world's greatest cities — Rio de Janeiro.
-
This morning you will head out on an exciting jeep tour of Rio's most iconic sights — Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain and Rio's botanical gardens.
-
Free day in Rio to stroll along the beaches or arrange further tours — you could try a typical cookery class or spend the night listening to Samba at a local venue.
-
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
