You’ll also find the high ceilings and large windows typical of a noble Renaissance residence. Beneath the property, an extensive wine cellar is located below the building’s original medieval tower. This cavernous space can be used for tastings led by the hotel's expert sommeliers on request.
In keeping with its history, many of the rooms are decorated with original antiques, sumptuous fabrics and other elegant touches, while at the same time featuring all the amenities you would expect in a modern hotel. Rooms to the back of the property also offer panoramic views out across the roofs of the city to the rolling Tuscan countryside.

Beautifully renovated to make full use of historic heritage, we find the Grand Hotel Continental to be an excellent and luxurious option, perfect for those looking for a little extra comfort during a stay in Siena.
