Offering an intimate and personalized experience as you discover the deserted islands of the Mergui Archipelago, Burma Boating’s SY Meta IV provides plenty of spaces in which you can relax and take in your beautiful surroundings, with comfortable cabins, a communal dining area and a sociable top deck.
Each day will bring a new adventure as you encounter Moken sea people fishing and diving for pearls from their hand-crafted boats, explore peaceful mangrove forests shrouded in mists and bask in the sun on the area’s white sand beaches, where the clear waters make for excellent snorkeling opportunities. Whatever the activity, you'll be surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery at all times.
The boat has four air conditioned cabins — two with queen size beds and two with twin beds. Each has an en suite bathroom with an electric toilet.

Our specialists suggest:
5 nights aboard Meta IV as part of our 15-day "Myanmar highlights & island cruise" itinerary, from CAD13,475pp.
We’re yet to try a Meta IV cruise for ourselves, but its excellent range of facilities, plush dining options and history as a converted private yacht are enough for us to recommend it with confidence.
