This full day excursion provides a sample of many of the highlights of this stunning peninsula. The guides at Kiwi Dundee will introduce you to areas of scenic beauty and historic significance, and will endeavor to tailor the day to the preferences of the group.
A typical itinerary includes short walks along some of the fantastic coastal scenery, visits to historic gold-mining caves which sparkle with glowworms, ancient Māori pa sites and areas of semi-tropical rainforest, and lunch will be provided either as a picnic along the way, or at one of the excellent local cafés. If tides permit, you will also take in a visit to Hot Water Beach where you can relax in your own hot pool.
