Sublime Comporta offers an elegant woodland retreat just 15 minutes’ drive from the beaches that have put Comporta firmly on the map. The property comprises various sleek, modernist villas and cabanas, scattered throughout the natural grounds. Think Scandinavian styling, exposed wood, glittering floor-to-ceiling glass and driftwood-inspired furniture.
Nestled within the sprawling grounds you’ll also find a central outdoor swimming pool and fire pit, a secluded spa building with indoor pool and a dramatic biological swimming pool, complete with waterlilies. Those staying in the bio pool suites have their own private terraces built on stilts for direct access to the water.
The hotel also offers numerous dining options from the poolside bar and outdoor terrace restaurant Tasca da Comporta to the exclusive Food Circle organic restaurant that seats just 12 people in the hotel’s organic garden. No matter where you chose to eat however, you’ll be treated to dishes inspired by the freshest local ingredients, many of which are grown on site.
We love the way that Sublime Comporta has grown over the years into its own organic style while still maintaining the essence of a tranquil, natural retreat.
