Itinerary idea in detail

Ask us if you would also like us to arrange your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • Today, you will arrive in the vineyard capital of Adelaide, where you will stay for two nights. The rest of the day is yours to spend exploring. Take the tram to one of the nearby beaches for the day, or stay in the city and visit the buzzing Adelaide Central Market, Royal Botanic Gardens or the aboriginal cultural center of Tandanya.

  • Enjoy a full-day tour exploring the wine region of Barossa Valley, try a variety of the red and white wines of the region and keep an eye out for local wildlife.

  • Today, you'll fly to the wildlife haven of Kangaroo Island, which lies a short flight from Adelaide. Your full-day tour will introduce you to some of the Island's most productive and diverse farming country, including sheep that provide some of the world's finest wool. As you walk through the bush with your guide, look for wallabies that are extinct on the mainland, a kangaroo found only on Kangaroo Island, and learn about some of the unique Island plants. You will enjoy a delicious lunch in a natural picnic setting featuring some of the island's fresh produce, including local fish, salads and fine wines, before continuing to the South Coast. At Seal Bay Conservation Park, walk with your guide among sea lions on a beautiful sandy beach, where you can watch pups nursing or playing in the surf, see bulls bearing the scars of territorial fights, and learn of their unique breeding biology.

  • The touring today focuses on Flinders Chase National Park, which covers the entire western end of the island. Unspoilt and diverse, it's home to a wide variety of plants and animals — some found nowhere else on the planet. At Cape du Couedic you will visit a fur seal colony that now numbers over 20,000 after being decimated by hunting in the early 1800s. These animals can be observed resting on rocks or frolicking in the surf under Admiral's Arch, a spectacular grotto. Further up the coast, you will find the Remarkable Rocks — huge granite boulders that have been carved by the relentless wind, rain and salt of the Southern Ocean. Your picnic lunch features good wines and local produce. It is enjoyed in the bush before exploring more of the island. At the conclusion of the tour, you will be transferred to Kingscote Airport to connect with your return flight to Adelaide.

  • Collect your hire car in Adelaide this morning before embarking on the scenic drive into the Outback and the dramatic Flinders Ranges. Settle into your traditional homestead accommodation tonight ready for a day of exploring tomorrow.

  • Enjoy exploring the highlights of the Flinders Ranges today. A great option is to take a scenic flight and experience the rugged nature of the region and its dramatic topography in all its glory.

  • Set off early this morning and head back to Adelaide Airport, where you'll catch an internal flight to Perth. Upon arriving in Perth, you'll be transferred to your centrally located hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

  • Take in the city views and eucalyptus scents at Kings Park, or enjoy Indian Ocean sunsets and a beachside lunch at Cottesloe Beach.

  • Take a short ferry ride this morning and travel from the buzzing capital city of Perth to the picturesque nature lovers' paradise of Rottnest Island, home to one of Australia's most loveable — and photogenic — marsupials, the quokka. Apart from a small colony on the mainland, Rottnest Island is the only place where quokkas can be found on Earth, and you're likely to see several emerging from the bush as you explore the islet.

  • Rottnest Island is a protected nature reserve, and aside from the Island Explorer bus, which circuits the island, it's car-free. We recommend hiring a bicycle and exploring at your own pace — with 63 beaches in total and some great snorkeling on offer, spending some time by the sea should definitely be on the agenda for today.

  • Travel back to the mainland this morning and straight to the airport in time for your flight to the World Heritage Area of the Ningaloo Coast. From one natural wonder to another, the Ningaloo Reef is the world's longest-fringing coral reef. Your accommodation for the next three nights is in the luxurious safari-style tents of Sal Salis, which are one of the Australian Luxury Lodge collection.

  • Stretching some 300 km (186 miles) in length and home to some of the best-known dive sites in the world, the Ningaloo Reef welcomes both whale sharks and humpback whales, which can be experienced at various times of the year. Today you'll have the opportunity to snorkel with one of these ocean giants.

  • Nestled in the dunes just steps away from the Ningaloo Reef, and with the deep gorges of the Cape Range National Park as a backdrop, Sal Salis is perfectly placed to offer nature-based experiences, and there are a plethora of activities included in your stay. Today, perhaps you may wish to take a guided walk through the national park and learn about the Aboriginal heritage and unique wildlife of the area. Alternatively, don a snorkeling mask again and try your hand at drift snorkeling, letting the ocean currents guide you over some of the country's best coral and marine life, which starts almost from the water's edge. Whichever activity you choose you can be sure that canapés and a stunning three-course meal will await you at the end of the day.

  • You'll travel south again today, returning to Perth where you'll be met at the airport and transported approximately three hours south to the Margaret River region. This region is home to both world-famous wine and beaches, and is one of the country's undisputed food and wine destinations. Your accommodation for the next three nights is a culinary attraction in itself, Cape Lodge, with its restaurant having been ranked in Condé Nast's Top Ten Restaurants of the World.

  • Today you'll have time to explore the best of the Margaret River region, one of the most scenic sections of Western Australia. The coastline is scattered with white sands, turquoise waters and dramatic clifftop scenery.

  • Spend your last day in the Margaret River region exploring the wine, food and arts at the world-renowned Leeuwin Estate. Your experience today will include a guided introduction to the onsite art gallery, expert-led wine tasting and a seven-course tasting menu for lunch, which will be paired with premium Leeuwin Estate wines.

  • A private transfer will collect you from your lodge this morning and return you to Perth in time for your onward arrangements.
