A free day to relax after your long-haul flights. You may want to take a short excursion to the volcano or explore Puerto Varas. There’s a range of options here, from white-water rafting to gentle walking tours, and we can get them all booked in advance for you.

Continuing your journey south, you'll fly to the small town of Balmaceda. A driver will be there to take you on the long but stunning five-hour drive to your hotel on the shores of Lago General Carrera.

Guided explorations may include a visit to the Marble Caves, boat excursions on the lake, scenic hikes through native forests, rewarding treks with panoramic views, and birdwatching in this remarkable Patagonian wilderness.
