My love for Ireland and the UK began through my family’s involvement in Irish step dancing. Traveling several times a year for competitions (feiseanna), we explored hidden gems, breathtaking views, local cuisine, and lively traditional music across both countries. Over time, I found myself planning trips for friends and family — and realized how much I enjoy helping others create unforgettable travel experiences and memories.
Now, I’d love to share that passion and insider knowledge with you. Whether you're chasing castles, coastlines, culture, céilí, or craic, I’ll help you fall in love with Ireland and the UK just like I did.
Q&A with Heather

What tips would you give for people who want to visit your specialty destination?
If you’re visiting Ireland or the UK, my best advice is to embrace the weather. Chances are, you’ll run into some rain — so pack a good raincoat and just roll with it. One of my favorite walking tours was in Edinburgh during a full-on downpour. The rain didn’t take away from the stunning views or the incredible history I learned — it actually made the experience even more memorable. And warming up by the fire in a cozy old pub at the end? Pure magic.

What’s the one thing you always pack?
I always pack adapters — don’t forget the outlets are different. But my favorite travel hack is bringing old, worn-out t-shirts to use as pajamas. Throughout the year, my family and I collect dingy shirts just for trips. While traveling, we wear them to sleep and then recycle or donate them before heading home. It frees up space in our luggage for souvenirs, which is a must with three daughters who love to shop.

Where would you love to travel next?
The next two places I'd love to travel to are Japan and Greece. I have twin daughters who are incredibly different from each other — one is drawn to the vibrant culture and technology of Japan, while the other is fascinated by the history and beauty of Greece. I love traveling with my loved ones because experiencing new places together makes the journey even more meaningful. Seeing these destinations through my daughters’ eyes would be the best part of the adventure.
