Hôtel Cour du Corbeau Strasbourg-MGallery

Strasbourg, France

Nestled in the heart of Strasbourg’s historic district, Hôtel Cour du Corbeau Strasbourg-MGallery is a boutique hotel set inside a traditional half-timbered building that dates back to 1528. The hotel is just a stone’s throw from the cathedral and makes a convenient base for exploring Strasbourg and the surrounding region.

The 63 rooms are simply furnished, with warm jewel tones and lots of natural textures like rustic wood beams, exposed stone walls, and upholstered leather headboards. There’s no hotel restaurant, but you can enjoy a drink or light meal at the bar and the hotel is a short walk from many of the city’s best restaurants and cafes.

OUR OPINION:

We like this hotel for its central location and its thoughtful balance of heritage with modern comforts.

The 63 rooms are spacious and filled with light, thanks to generous windows. Many rooms offer sweeping views over the city and the river, while others look onto the sunlit courtyard, encircled by half-timbered buildings.

In all the rooms, the decor is classic and airy, with an emphasis on jewel tones and interesting natural textures — you’ll find exposed brick and wooden beams from the original 16th-century construction. Wi-Fi is complimentary in all rooms.

Tucked into the heart of the city, the hotel is a stone’s throw from Strasbourg’s cathedral and many of its most important museums, including the Strasbourg Museum of Fine Arts. You’re also a short walk from the many of the city’s restaurants and bars.
