A short boat ride away from Grenada lies Carriacou, which is an even quieter and more relaxed island that is worth a visit if you fancy a change of scenery. Or you might want to be more active and take a hike in Grand Etang National Park.

Today you will be picked up from Calabash and taken to Petite Anse up in the north of the island, where you will spend the next four nights. You'll take in a sightseeing tour of the island as you head from south to north.

North Grenada is a very interesting part of the island that not many visitors reach, so you will be away from the crowds. You can either head out and explore the local area of simply relax and enjoy being so secluded.

Today you will be picked up from Petite Anse and driven to the airport in time for your short flight over to neighbouring St Lucia. Upon arrival to St Lucia, once you've collected your luggage and cleared through immigration, you will meet your driver who will take you to the south of the island, where you will stay at Anse Chastanet which offers excellent views over the Pitons.

Take advantage of the complimentary activities on offer at Anse Chastanet such as Yoga, paddle boarding, kayaking or even a guided walk around the resort.

Today you could explore one of the walking trails in the south, the Tet Paul Trail. You will pay a small fee and have a local guide from one of the villages that the trail passes over. The trail offers some excellent views, however you should try to avoid going at peak times to steer clear of the cruise ship crowds.

Today you will be transferred over to the area of Rodney Bay where you will spend the next few nights at one of St Lucia's original boutique resorts, East Winds. Take advantage of the resort's all inclusive, laid back luxury vibe.

Check out the resorts weekly schedule to plan your day. You could start by enjoying a complimentary Pilates class, then taking a boat trip over to the Pitons and end your day with a cocktail reception at the hotel's bar before a barbecue on the beach.

Why not explore nearby Pigeon Island? Grab a taxi and then explore on your own. There is a fascinating mix of historic sites (you can walk up to the old fort at the top of the hill) and beautiful scenery, including two beaches. Remember to take your snorkeling gear as you can head out from the shoreline here.

For a taste of local culture, you could organise to head on a tour. Alternatively, head to Rodney Bay – you’ll find plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from around the marina, which is also a great spot for people watching.
