La Lancha Resort, owned by Francis Ford Coppola, has beautiful views overlooking Lake Petén Itzá, just 50 minutes from the park entrance to Tikal.

There are just ten comfortable, secluded spacious casitas furnished with native art set on a steep slope with steps down to the lake. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and all the rooms have terraces facing the garden or the lake. There is a small pool and a restaurant with wonderful views of the surrounding area.

Please note all excursions/transfers to/from the Francis Ford Coppola hotels must be operated by the hotel and not our local agents.
