Street food tour of Antigua
Street food tour of Antigua, Guatemala
You will be met at your hotel by local culinary specialist Juan Carlos and will walk to various hotspots around the town center to try everything from gooey cheese-filled tortillas to juicy pork or even cow brains! Born in Zacapa, home of the famous Zacapa rum, Juan Carlos is passionate about Guatemalan food and culture and is now a restauranteur in Antigua, and he offers this tour exclusively for the agents we work with in Antigua.
The tour will also include a visit to the famous Antigua market (except Sundays) where you can learn about the many unique ingredients that are used in traditional Guatemala cooking before trying some for yourselves. In the mid-week, the tour focuses more on the street food in down-town Antigua, finishing with a visit to a local restaurant.
