This morning it will be an early start as you are driven south to the tip of Baja California. The drive is around one and a half hours each way. Humpback whales gather around the Pacific Coast near Baja from December to the end of March.
You will depart the port at Cabo San Lucas by small motorboat and spend two to three hours out at sea looking for these magnificent creatures. There are no guarantees obviously, and sometimes you may only get the glimpse of a spray in the distance, but the thrill of an opportunity to see these incredible mammals up close is incentive enough.
Please note this tour is best done in the morning when seas can be calmer. If it is windy it can be a fairly choppy ride.
