Itinerary idea in detail

Private customized tour. Ask us about booking your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • You’ll be met at the airport and transferred by your private driver to your hotel in central Amsterdam. After settling in, meet your private guide for a walking tour of the canal-threaded city and its narrow streets, gabled pastel houses, and historic squares. This is followed by a sunset cruise along the city’s curving canals.

  • Today, you have a full day to spend at your leisure, relaxing into the Dutch lifestyle or exploring the cosmopolitan hub and its wealth of museums, historical highlights and humpback bridged canals. We’ll provide plenty of suggestions to ensure you make the most of your time in the city.

  • This morning, depart Amsterdam with your private driver and guide and spend the day exploring the Netherlands’ smaller towns. With a guided walking tour in each, discover the 17th-century architecture and cheese-rich history of the canal-threaded Edam, take a ferry to Marken, which used to house a community of monks, and explore the labyrinthine fishery district of Volendam and its thriving port.

  • Departing Amsterdam with a private driver, travel to a historical site whose symbol is synonymous with the Netherlands, the windmills of Zaanse Schans. Wander through the wooden houses, manicured gardens, over hump-backed bridges, and visit a working mill. After returning to the city, you’ll have the rest of the day free to relax or explore further.

  • This morning, depart Amsterdam for The Hague, the home of international peace and justice. In the afternoon, meet your guide for a private walking tour of the city. Meander along its pedestrian-only cobblestone streets as your guide recants the city’s historical tales. You finish with a visit to the Mauritshuis Museum, home to masterpieces of the Dutch Golden Age.

  • You have today free to explore the city. The Old Town houses the elegant royal palace, stately Binnenhof and narrow streets of boutique stores and cafés, with the Escher Museum and Kunstmuseum nearby. A short tram ride away is the seaside district of Scheveningen, with its honeyed stretch of sand lined by 19th-century beachside buildings and promenade.

  • Depart The Hague for Delft, where your guide will lead you on a private walking tour of its well-preserved medieval old town and through its royal history. After free time over lunch, visit Royal Delft, the factory producing the renowned Delftware pottery, where you will tour their museum and small factory floor before creating your own piece in a tile-painting workshop.

  • You have a full day of free time to spend at your leisure, relax or explore further following our many recommendations. Venture to nearby Utrecht and scale the soaring Domtoren, or further afield to Leiden and retrace the footsteps of 17th-century Puritans who went on to settle New England. This evening, depart The Hague for Rotterdam.

  • Meet your private guide, who will have bicycles and helmets for your gastronomic tour of the architecturally innovative city. As you taste classic Dutch dishes along the way, your guide will point out the city’s hybrid buildings, from the historic ports to contemporary buildings like the Cube Houses and Markthal. This afternoon you are free to spend at your leisure.

  • With the trip coming to an end, your private driver will take you to the airport for your departing flight.
