On arrival in Cuzco, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city and acclimatizing to the altitude.

Today you'll explore Santiago (James) Island, starting with Buccaneer's Cove, a hiding place for passing pirates and sailors in the 18th and 19th centuries. The cliffs here are clustered with seabirds. In the afternoon, you'll take a moderate guided walk, keeping a lookout for marine iguanas and sea lion colonies.

Today your first stop is at Rábida (Jervis) Island, known for its iron-rich reddish beaches. Here you can snorkel, take short strolls along the beach, and visit a brackish lagoon where flamingos gather. Look out for marine iguanas, mockingbirds and Darwin's finches. In the afternoon you'll hike to the summit of Bartolomé Island before having a chance to take a glass-bottomed boat trip. Galapagos penguins are often seen here.

A day in Genovesa, a remote northerly island swarming with birds such as storm petrels, frigate birds and Nazca boobies. You'll climb to the top of the cliffs via the Prince Phillip Steps and take a short guided walk. In the afternoon, there's an optional walk over slightly more demanding terrain.
