  • Transfer to the airport in time for your flight to the Galapagos Islands. Here you will be met by a representative of your boat who will take you to your awaiting vessel. Enjoy afternoon excursions in the Galapagos.

  • Today you'll explore Santiago (James) Island, starting with Buccaneer's Cove, a hiding place for passing pirates and sailors in the 18th and 19th centuries. The cliffs here are clustered with seabirds. In the afternoon, you'll take a moderate guided walk, keeping a lookout for marine iguanas and sea lion colonies.

  • Today your first stop is at Rábida (Jervis) Island, known for its iron-rich reddish beaches. Here you can snorkel, take short strolls along the beach, and visit a brackish lagoon where flamingos gather. Look out for marine iguanas, mockingbirds and Darwin's finches. In the afternoon you'll hike to the summit of Bartolomé Island before having a chance to take a glass-bottomed boat trip. Galapagos penguins are often seen here.

  • A day in Genovesa, a remote northerly island swarming with birds such as storm petrels, frigate birds and Nazca boobies. You'll climb to the top of the cliffs via the Prince Phillip Steps and take a short guided walk. In the afternoon, there's an optional walk over slightly more demanding terrain.

  • Excursions in the Galapagos Islands followed by disembarkation and flight back to the Ecuadorian mainland.
