Itinerary idea in detail

Private customized tour. Ask us about booking your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • Arrive in Seville and take the afternoon to relax and get your bearings.

  • This morning, enjoy a walking tour of Seville to see the city's highlights, including the Giralda bell tower and the Real Alcázar. In the evening, take in a traditional flamenco performance before enjoying a tapas tour around some popular local haunts with your guide.

  • Spend the day in Córdoba, well-known for La Mezquita, the great mosque-cathedral. In addition to Córdoba, visit Almodóvar Castle, a Moorish castle that dates back to 760 and a Game of Thrones filming location.

  • Travel to Madrid, Spain's capital city, today by high-speed train. Once you've freshened up, head out for a panoramic tour of the city on foot and by car, ending with a tour of the Prado Museum.

  • Journey outside of Madrid today to visit nearby Ávila and Segovia. In Ávila, wander through the winding medieval streets and see its remarkably intact defensive wall. In Segovia, marvel at the impeccable remains of a soaring Roman aqueduct.

  • Head outside of Madrid again today to visit the grand, art-filled monastery at El Escorial, where nearly all of Spain's monarchs have been buried. Along the way, make a brief stop at the Valle de los Caídos, or Valley of the Fallen, a civil war memorial commissioned by Francisco Franco. In the afternoon, explore Madrid on your own.

  • Wave goodbye to Madrid as you board a high-speed train bound for Barcelona, home to an impressive array of architecture designed by Antoni Gaudí. After dropping your bags at your hotel, head out for a half-day tour of Gaudí's many contributions to the Barcelona skyline.

  • After absorbing Gaudí's contributions to Barcelona, take a half-day walking tour to see the rest of the city's offerings. Later, get a different perspective on the city from a helicopter.

  • End your time in Spain with a trip to the striking Penedès region, known for producing Spain's signature sparkling wine, cava. As well as visiting two excellent wine producers, you can enjoy a picnic lunch in the vineyards before returning to Barcelona.

  • Depart for the airport and your flight home.
