Luxury Seychelles: Praslin & Denis Private Island

At Lemuria, there is plenty to do; you can enjoy relaxing at the pool or the beach. Windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling, and diving are all available, along with tennis and golf.

Day at leisure on Praslin. The Vallée de Mai is a beautiful place to explore inland and is home to the endemic coco de mer tree and some interesting bird species, including the black parrot.

If you need a little pampering, head to the lovely spa where you can enjoy a range of massage and beauty treatments.

There are three fantastic beaches at Lemuria, one of which is Anse Georgette, which is particularly pretty. There's a regular golf buggy shuttle to the beach, and if you like you can order a picnic lunch to be brought to you while you spend the whole day there.

It's easy to hire a car to explore Praslin independently for the day — there are only a few roads and plenty of lovely beaches to discover.

Today you will take the ferry back to Mahé and your flight to Denis Private Island. The plane will land on a grass strip from which it's a very short walk through the coconut trees to the lodge. The lodge is situated under palms at the back of an idyllic beach. All the bungalows are very private and look out toward the beach and sea.

Denis Island is a wonderful place to relax. The island is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches which shelve gently into the sea. You can swim and snorkel off the beach or relax in the shade of a palm tree with a good book. As the island is small, it never takes very long to get anywhere making it the perfect size for gently pottering about.

Denis has a wide variety of activities if you would like to be active. The lodge has a good dive center and you can arrange to go on dive or snorkel trips to the nearby reefs. The reefs off Denis Island are untouched as they receive so few divers and snorkelers.

There are plenty of sandy tracks to explore across the island, perfect for finding a deserted beach to relax on for the day.

Other activities on Denis include deep-sea fishing, sailing and kayaking. The food is excellent on Denis (with a lot of fresh seafood) so you often need to do a bit of activity to counteract all the lovely food!

Today is your final full day to relax or explore more of the island.

You will fly back to Mahé to meet your onward flights today.
