Caroline F

I caught the travel bug at a very young age. Growing up, my parents instilled in me a love for adventure and curiosity about the world. In college, when I was given the chance to study abroad in Florence, I was over the moon. I took every opportunity I could to go or see something new, my goal was (and still is) to see it all. Travel opened the door to so many new passions, including wine, food, history, art, and connecting with people from different cultures.

Now, I’m lucky to turn my passion into a career. From the vibrant streets of London to the Scottish Highlands, the vineyards of France to the peaks of Switzerland, this job has taken me to such beautiful places. I only hope that I can build experiences for my clients that make them fall in love with travel as deeply as I have.

If you’re planning a trip to England, Scotland, Ireland, France, or Switzerland, I’m happy to help you check another place off your bucket- list.

Q&A with

Caroline visiting the Rothiemurchus Estate, Scotland

What’s your most vivid travel moment?

On my recent trip to Scotland, I had the pleasure of visiting Rothiemurchus Estate in the Scottish Highlands. My guide showed me around the estate by Land Rover, where I was able to see the vibrant landscape of snow-capped mountains, bright orange and red forests, and a crystal-clear lake, reflecting the autumn colors of the trees within it. I remember smelling the crisp, fresh air and feeling like it had been the first deep breath I’d taken in weeks. The highlight of the experience was the wildlife. My guide took me to see Highland coos (cows) and red deer that live on the estate. I was able to feed dozens of deer out of my hands with the sunset gleaming in the background.

Which book, film, or artwork captures France the most?

In my childhood room, I had a print of ‘The Star’ by Edgar Degas on my wall. Growing up with a love for art, I always had a love for impressionism. When I was able to visit the D’Orsay for the first time, it was incredible to see the artwork of the impressionists that inspired me over the years. I would recommend France, and particularly a visit to the D’Orsay to any fellow art lover.

Haggis, Scotland

Your best piece of travel advice?

My best piece of travel advice is to try the local food! Food is one of the best parts of travel. Most of the best meals that I’ve had in my life have been on vacation. Sometimes, the most intimidating thing on the menu ends up being the best. For example, haggis can be intimidating, but don’t knock it till you try it.
