To accommodate guests’ individual tastes, the hotel offers a range of spacious, beautifully appointed rooms. Design elements range from the classical grandeur of high ceilings and antique furniture to the bright hues and patterned wallpaper of a stylish, more contemporary elegance. Although each room has unique decor, all pay great attention to detail and feature comforting amenities such as plush fabric headboards and exquisite marble bathrooms. Rooms have a range of shower only, shower-over-bath, or separate bath and shower configurations. Additionally, each room offers views of the gardens, historic Killarney town or the stunning mountains of Killarney beyond. All rooms offer complimentary Wi-Fi and feature satellite TV. 

Location

Offering the best of both worlds, the Killarney Park Hotel is set within its own expansive gardens right in the heart of the city. With an unmatched location, the hotel is less than three minutes on foot to central Killarney and its inviting pubs and lovely shops. Killarney’s National Park, which is renowned for its lakes, mountains and scenic walks, is mere minutes from the hotel.

Food and drink

Offering a range of dining experiences, the hotel prides itself on using superb, locally-sourced ingredients in all their dishes. Casual meals are served in the atmospheric Garden Bar which opens out onto a lovely, covered terrace. The terrace is the perfect place to dine on juicy burgers cooked on the outdoor barbecue in the summer or warm oneself by the glowing fire pits and toasty heaters in the winter. More formal meals are served in the elegant Park Restaurant with its sparkling chandeliers, resident pianist and creative but classic menu.

Facilities and activities

The beautiful hotel spa has a nail bar, sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tub and eight tranquil treatment rooms. An extensive range of face and body treatments are on offer or guests can work out in the spacious, well-equipped gym which has an array of cardiovascular machines and free weights. Personal trainers are also on hand to offer advice. The hotel also has an inviting 20 m (66 ft) indoor swimming pool.
