Itinerary idea in detail

Ask us if you would also like us to arrange your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • Upon arrival into Amman you'll be met at the airport and driven to your hotel.

  • Today you will be picked up from your hotel and driven north to the impressive Roman site of Jerash, where a local guide will show you around the ruins. You will also stop at the crusader castle at Ajloun before taking in the spectacular views over the valley below at Umm Qais.

  • This morning your guide will pick you up from the hotel and accompany you on a walking tour of the city. You'll visit the bustling souqs, the Husseini Mosque, the Roman Theatre and the citadel, which will give you a panoramic view over the city.

  • An early start this morning as it's around five to six hours' drive down the 5,000 years old King's Highway to Petra. En route you will stop to see Mount Nebo, with its spectacular views over the Dead Sea; the Christian mosaics of Madaba; and the crusader castle of Kerak. In Petra you will stay for three nights at your hotel. This evening you will enjoy a guided excursion of Petra by night, which should be a magical experience.

  • Today you will enjoy a full day guided tour of Petra. Your private guide will be with you for around two to three hours, after which you have some time to explore further on your own. Although it is probably the highlight of your holiday, bring your walking shoes and be prepared for an inspiring but energetic day!

  • One day is never enough to fully take in the wonders of Petra, so you have an extra day to explore under your own steam.

  • Today you travel from Petra to Wadi Rum, where you enjoy a jeep tour of the seven sites, before watching the sunset at your Bedouin-style camp.

  • Travel to the coastal resort of Aqaba today. You have the rest of the day to enjoy beside the Red Sea.

  • Today you might want to arrange a treatment in the hotel spa.

  • After breakfast you will be met and taken to Dana Nature Reserve, where you will stay at the guesthouse tonight.

  • This morning you will set off on a walk from Dana Guesthouse to the other end of Wadi Dana, ending at Feynan Ecolodge, where you spend the night.

  • The ecolodge offers a number of traditional Bedouin experiences to local villages nearby, so you may wish to join a tour before your journey to the Dead Sea later today.

  • You have a day to enjoy relaxing at your Dead Sea resort, or floating weightless on the water, famous for its high salinity levels. You could also indulge in a massage or spa treatment at your hotel — the area is well known for its healing practises.

  • An early start for the transfer to Amman Airport in time for your flight home.
