Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Amman. Upon arrival in Amman, you'll be met by a local representative who will enable you to skip the long queues at immigration. You then meet your private driver who will take you to your hotel in downtown Amman.

Today you'll be picked up from your hotel and driven north to the impressive Roman site of Jerash, where a local guide will show you around the ruins. After, you have lunch at Beit Khayrat, a social enterprise supporting local women to gain employment skills. Continue to the Crusader castle at Ajloun before taking in the spectacular views across the valley below at Umm Qais. Return to Amman in the afternoon and spend the evening at leisure.

This morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and accompany you on a walking tour of the city. You'll visit the bustling souqs, the Husseini Mosque, the Roman Theatre, and the citadel, giving you a panoramic view of the city. In the evening, you head to an old, traditional home in the downtown part of Amman, where you join a cooking class preparing classic Jordanian dishes. After, enjoy the fruits of your labour!

An early start this morning as it's around a five- to six-hour drive down the 5,000-year-old King's Highway to Petra. En route, you'll stop to see Mount Nebo, with its spectacular views over the Dead Sea; the Christian mosaics of Madaba, and the Crusader castle of Kerak. In Petra, you'll stay for three nights at your hotel. This evening you'll enjoy a candlelit Petra by night, which should be a magical experience.

Today, you have a full-day guided tour of Petra. Your private, local guide will be with you for around two to three hours, after which you have some time to explore further. Although it's probably the highlight of your holiday, bring your walking shoes and be prepared for an inspiring but energetic day.

Today you have free time to relax at your hotel, or head back to Petra for another day of exploring under your own steam. In the evening, another unique experience awaits you: head to a secluded cave up in the hills of Petra for a private dinner.

Today, you travel from Petra to Wadi Rum, enjoying a jeep tour of the seven sites before watching the sunset at your Bedouin-style camp. Go back in time and follow in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia as you explore this unique desert landscape. This evening, you have a camel ride across the desert dunes and watch the sun set from a unique vantage point with views across the landscape.

Depart your desert camp this morning and travel to the coastal resort of Aqaba, roughly one and a half hours away. You have the rest of the day to relax at the Red Sea. You may wish to book into Al Manara’s expansive spa, which offers a range of treatments.

Today you head out on a private boat cruise where you'll have the opportunity to go swimming and snorkelling among the beautiful Red Sea coral reefs close to Aqaba. The cruise will take you to the best snorkelling spots in the area, and you’ll also enjoy a mouthwatering barbecue meal for lunch.

After breakfast, you have a final morning to relax by the Red Sea. In the afternoon, you're met by your private driver and driven to Dana Guesthouse, a simple property with fantastic views across the Rift Valley. To fully appreciate the remoteness of this location, you'll be joined by a private guide and spend the evening stargazing.

Today you hike from Dana Guesthouse to Feynan Ecolodge, a beautiful 15 km (9 miles) trail downhill. En route, you have a high chance of spotting many of the 200 different bird species that inhabit the area, and plenty of wildflowers too. On arrival at Feynan, relax and enjoy some well-earned rest.

Today, you'll depart Wadi Feynan and be driven to the Dead Sea, around two and a half hours away. Before you leave, you'll take part in an essential part of Bedouin life, making Arabic coffee. You’ll be taken through the musical experience of roasting the coffee beans, grinding them, and then boiling them. The Bedouin family will also explain to you the etiquette of serving Arabic coffee and how to drink it.

You have a day to relax at your Dead Sea resort or float weightlessly on the water, famous for its high salinity levels. You could also indulge in a massage or spa treatment at your hotel — the area is well-known for its healing practices.

An early start for the transfer to Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, in time for your flight home.
