Highlights of Luzon and Siargao

After breakfast you will visit the home of a local family and delve into a hands-on Filipino cooking experience. You will learn how to prepare a few of the country's favourite dishes before sitting down with the family to enjoy lunch. Later you will visit the historical heart, Intramuros, which you will explore by bicycle. End the tour with sunset drinks before returning to your hotel.

Today you will visit the nearby island of Corregidor. The island was once a formidable defence bastion against the Japanese onslaught of the Philippines during World War II. You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the pier to board the ferry across to the island. You will then take a tour of the island including the mile- long barracks and Pacific War Memorial Museum. Afterwards you will return to the mainland and back to your hotel.

Head to the airport this morning for your flight up to north Luzon. Upon arrival into Cauayan you will climb further into the mountains by road and pass hill tribe villages and towns with a breathtaking backdrop. Arriving into Mayoyao you will need to register at the local office before heading out with your local guide to explore the rice terraces. The village is really off the beaten track and it is very unlikely that you will see other visitors in the area. After exploring and trekking the terraces you will check into your basic but comfortable local lodge for the evening.

Today you will have some more time to explore Mayoyao in the morning before driving on to Banaue. The town has a simple hotel with adequate facilities along with a selection of local restaurants to choose from. Evening at leisure.

After enjoying the views from the hotel at breakfast you will board a local jeepney and head to the hilltribe of Bangann nestled in among the rice terraces and meet some of the native locals. Afterwards head to the stunning Batad Amphitheatre for some trekking along the terraces before returning to Banaue in the evening.

An early rise today as you travel back to Cauayan in time for your flight to Manila and on Legazpi. On arrival you will be met by a local guide and transferred to your accommodation, a small colonial heritage property and perfect base from which to explore the area.

Enjoy a full day exploring the heart of Bicol, taking in stunning volcanoes, the very best Filipino cuisine and vibrant markets.

This morning you will head to Donsol and take a private boat out in order to swim and snorkel with whale sharks.

Take an afternoon flight across to Cebu today and transfer to your new hotel for the evening. The small boutique hotel boasts an enviable ocean front location and serves up an array of fantastic international and local favourites.

After breakfast you will transfer to the airport in time for your flight to Siargao. On arrival you will check into your luxury boutique resort, Nay Palad Hideaway. The Resort operates on a full board basis and also has a number of excellent activities on offer. Spend the evening watching the surf at the world renowned Cloud 9 break.

There is a huge range of activities to choose from while here. Start the day with a nice beach walk before venturing further afield on a cycling trip round the island.

Enjoy a relaxing day on the island with spa treatments and an evening outdoor cinema session.

Start the day with morning yoga before enjoying some snorkeling in the surrounding waters.

Bid farewell to Siargao and fly back to Cebu in time to connect with your onward flight.
