Guided visit to Cukurcuma and the Museum of Innocence

Situated between Istiklal Street and the shores of the Bosphorus, Çukurcuma is a wonderfully laid back area to explore.

Steep, tree-lined streets, winding alleys stuffed with antique shops and kitsch, vintage boutiques, Çukurcuma has a distinct bohemian air, despite being still a 'local's' district.

Located in the heart of Çukurcuma is the bizarre but emotive Museum of Innocence, a creation of author Orhan Pamuk, based around the characters from his novel of the same name. The museum is filled with objects which the novel's hero Kemal, associates with his lover Füsun, and their poignant secret relationship.
