Located in Puxi district in the heart of bustling Shanghai, close to tourist attractions such as the Bund with its colonial architecture, the excellent Shanghai Museum, People’s Square and the famous Nanjing Road shopping street, Central Hotel Shanghai offers guests a comfortable stay and is an ideal base from which to explore this exciting city.

The hotel offers modern guest rooms and a good range of leisure facilities and dining options, and due to its location, you can find a number of good restaurants and bars within walking distance to the hotel and convenient access to public transport and taxis.

Rooms

The hotel offers a selection of comfortable guest rooms and suites arranged over 27 floors, three of which are reserved for non-smoking rooms. The lead-in room category is Superior rooms with a choice of twin or double bed, followed by Executive Deluxe rooms. There are different types of suites available, including Executive suites and Family suites, making the hotel a great choice for families. Spacious guest rooms are designed in Western style and come with good amenities. All rooms include a private bathroom, in-room safe deposit box, TV and Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel, and are air conditioned.

Location

Just a stone’s throw from the shopping district of Nanjing Road and within walking distance to the Bund, the People’s Square and the Shanghai Museum, this hotel is ideally located in the heart of Shanghai with a diverse selection of restaurants and bar close by. Furthermore, nearby Nanjing East Road subway station provides a convenient way of exploring the city independently.

Food and drink

The Coffee Shop is open 24 hours and offers an international buffet breakfast as well as buffet dinners with live performances. There are two other restaurants serving both Western and Chinese cuisines. You can enjoy a drink at the lobby bar, relax at the Moon River Bar over a cocktail, or choose from a selection of world-class cigars at the Cigar Lounge.
