Day 1 Cancun


Accommodation options

Day 2 Merida

Cancun , Merida

Today you will be collected from your hotel and driven to Chichén Itzá, where you will take a guided tour of the ruins with a private guide, followed by lunch. You will then continue on to Mérida.


Day 3 Merida


Day at leisure to relax and stroll around this charming colonial city. In the evening, head to the main squares where locals often perform traditional Yucatecan dances.


Day 4 Merida


Today take a private guided tour of two ancient Maya sites buried deep in the jungle. At Uxmal, an hour's drive from Mérida, your guide points out the architecture unique to this site, such as the carved cisterns paying homage to the rain god Chaac. Ascend the Magician's Pyramid for views over the whole site. In the afternoon, journey to Kabah, a settlement once connected to Uxmal by a white stone causeway. You're dropped back in Mérida at the end of the trip.


Day 5 Oaxaca

Merida , Oaxaca

From Mérida you will take a domestic flight to Oaxaca.

Day 6 Oaxaca


Today you will enjoy a street-food and mezcal tasting walking tour where you’ll have the opportunity to try a selection of typical Oaxacan delicacies.

Day 7 Oaxaca


This morning you will join a local Oaxacan chef for a visit to a nearby market where you’ll go shopping together for ingredients, before heading back to his cookery school to begin your lesson. Here you will learn to marry local ingredients together and create a number of select dishes frequented in the country's cuisine. The fresh spices used in Mexican cooking are renowned for bringing to life many dishes.

Day 8 Mexico City

Oaxaca , Mexico City

Leaving Oaxaca behind, you will fly to Mexico City. You will have the rest of the day at leisure. Use this evening to dine at one of Mexico City’s famous gourmet restaurants.

Day 9 Mexico City

Today your guide will take you on a tour of Mexico City including the Xochimilco floating gardens.

Day 10 Mexico City

Mexico City

Today your private guide will take you to the Coyoacán District. Your tour also includes a visit to the Anthropological Museum with its stunning collection of sculptures.

Day 11 Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo

Mexico City , Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo

Leaving Mexico City behind, you will fly to the Pacific coast today for some time on the beach.
