Itinerary idea in detail

Ask us if you would also like us to arrange your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • Upon landing in Windhoek you will be met by your driver and transferred to your accommodation to relax.

  • This morning your personal safari guide will collect you from your guesthouse after breakfast. You then depart Windhoek in your private safari vehicle for Hoodia Desert Lodge, stopping for a picnic lunch at a scenic location along the way.

  • Today you can go on a guided tour to the Sossusvlei area with your guide. A lovely combination is to drive to see the Deadvlei and Sossusvlei area in the morning, and include a climb up Dune 45 or Big Daddy if you are feeling energetic. After exploring the dunes you will enjoy brunch nearby. You will then head to the canyon before heading back to your lodge to relax.

  • Today your driver will take you on to Swakopmund on the coast. You will have a chance to explore the historic town and coastline this afternoon before dinner in one of the town's fantastic restaurants.

  • Today you will be driven north along the coast before heading inland to Damaraland. If you would like to see the famous 'White Lady' rock paintings, you can stop off at Brandberg Mountain on the way to your accommodation rather than have to back-track tomorrow.

  • This morning you will go in search of the desert adapted elephant from Camp Kipwe with your guide. In the afternoon, you will get to see the famous Twyfelfontein Canyon which is known for its rock art paintings and sketches from thousands of years ago!

  • Today you will be driven to Grootberg Lodge, which is only a couple of hours north. It is a beautiful drive with a particularly dramatic final sector as you climb the steep lodge access road to be rewarded with spectacular views. In the afternoon you will have time for a guided cultural tour of the nearby homesteads or a nature drive along the plateau.

  • This morning you will head on to Hobatere Lodge, on the Hobatere Reserve, to the far west of Etosha National Park. In the afternoon you will take a game drive on the reserve.

  • Today you can further explore the reserve, you may wish to make use of the hide by the waterhole just outside of the lodge. You will also have the opportunity to do a night drive.

  • You'll leave the lodge after breakfast and enter the national park to enjoy a full morning on your way to the central region of Etosha. You'll meander along the tracks looking out for wildlife as you pass. Depending on how often you stop, you should arrive at your next lodge in time for lunch and afternoon activities.

  • Today will be spent exploring the reserve and neighbouring national park with your guide.

  • You may wish to have a last game drive this morning, before returning to Windhoek in the evening.

  • Depart Namibia from Windhoek today.
