Surrounded by lush gardens and flanked by the hotel vineyards, the Hotel Caeli offers a tranquil base within easy striking distance of Gallipoli and Troy. With just 21 rooms there’s plenty of space and you can always find somewhere to relax and unwind here.
There’s an Art Bar and lounge with comfortable green velvet tables and wooden tables, and modern artwork dotted throughout the building. The artwork extends to the gardens where there are huge pieces of art including a giant rabbit at the side of the lake and a jogging track through a sculpture garden.
Other facilities in the hotel include a large terrace with loungers, a gym and a spa with an indoor pool, Turkish bath, sauna and steam room.
OUR OPINION:
We love Hotel Caeli for its focus on modern art, as well as its unique vineyard location. The spacious rooms, and range of facilities make it a nice base to explore the northwestern coast.

Rooms
The 21 rooms are individually styled. Each is named after different grape varieties and are furnished to a high standard in a modern style. Exposed brick walls and wooden beams are complimented by neutral tones in greys and creams offset by splashes of brightness in the throw pillows. There are many little added extras in the room to make you more comfortable during your stay including pillow menus, tablet, underground heating in the tiled bathroom floors and smart TVs. Most rooms have balconies or a terrace with views over the surrounding countryside.
Location
Located across the Dardanelles Straight, around a 45-minute drive from the city of Çanakkale, the Hotel Caeli enjoys a peaceful location within its own vineyards. Gallipoli War Museum is a 40-minute drive, while Troy is an hour and 15 minutes away.
Food and drink
The hotel restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating and tall windows allow you to enjoy the views even during colder months. During the evenings the restaurant is a fine dining experience using fruit and vegetables from the garden, meat and dairy from the farm and seafood from the Dardanelles. During breakfast it’s a more casual affair.
