Itinerary idea in detail

Ask us if you would also like us to arrange your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • After landing in Scotland, you'll be met at the airport and driven to your hotel. Along the way, a guide will take you through your itinerary and answer any questions you may have. Drop your bags off at your hotel and hit the road on a guided tour of Edinburgh, with a focus on whisky and local folklore.

  • Today, you'll have a tour of the city with your guide, visiting both the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh. Learn about Scottish history as you walk cobbled streets and take in the local culture. You'll have the afternoon free to explore at your leisure.

  • Meet your group early and head into the countryside on this day trip to St Andrews. You'll also visit several fishing villages throughout the charming Kingdom of Fife. This tour makes for a peaceful city break, taking in sweeping ocean views, historic ruins, and medieval towns.

  • This morning, depart Edinburgh on the train and head north to Inverness. Upon arrival, drop off your bags at your hotel before setting off to tour Uile-bheist, a new distillery and brewery in the heart of Inverness. The brewery is dedicated to creating quality Scottish spirits and brews while remaining sustainable and carbon-friendly.

  • Today, your driver-guide will pick you up for a visit to Culloden Battlefield. This historic site is where the Jacobite army was defeated, ending the uprising. The solemn open-air museum is maintained by the National Trust, and the visitors' center displays weapons and artifacts from the Jacobite era. Next, you'll take a cruise around Loch Ness, learning about local history and natural wonders while keeping an eye out for Nessie.

  • Get ready for a long day surrounded by natural beauty. Join your group early and embark for the stunning Isle of Skye. On the way, you'll stop by the picturesque Eilean Donan Castle, perched on its own little island. On Skye, you'll travel to the town of Portree, filled with vibrant houses and quaint cottages. As you travel, marvel at Skye's natural wonders, such as the rugged cliffs of Trotternish Peninsula and the surreal rock formation of the Old Man of Stor.

  • Today wraps up your adventure in Scotland. Make your own way to the station and board your train to begin your journey home.
