Originally built in 1810 as a family residence, the guest rooms still have a home-like charm and feature individual furnishings. Although each guest room has its own design, all rooms use the highest quality linen and goose down duvets. Rooms are located upstairs and overlook the country garden or the waterfront. Furthermore, they are all fitted with modern conveniences such as flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi — although be aware that internet connectivity can be a bit unreliable at times. Standard and superior rooms have showers, while deluxe rooms and junior suites have both a shower and a bath.

Located in the heart of Kinsale, Perryville House offers guests fantastic views of the bay while still only being a short walk from the main street of this small town. A variety of gourmet restaurants and intimate pubs with traditional Irish music are only a five-minute stroll from the hotel.

With a passion for quality the staff produce their own honey from three onsite beehives. Using raw ingredients they grow themselves or source locally, the staff prepare and serve a cold buffet of creamy yogurts and homemade pastries in the charming breakfast room alongside hot breakfast items cooked to order. In the afternoon, the bar and garden rooms, furnished with comfortable sofas and fresh flowers, are lovely locations in which to unwind with a tea or cocktail. Although there is no restaurant for lunch or dinner, the staff provide guests with a detailed list of their recommended restaurants.

This hotel does not have any family facilities and is not suitable for children under 13 years old.

There is no lift in Perryville House, although staff are on hand to assist with carrying your luggage up or down the stairs.
