Be Tulum

Be Tulum

Tulum, Mexico

Designed by renowned architect Sebastian Sas, Be Tulum is a lovely beachfront hotel, comprising 64 suites, all with private bathrooms, air-conditioning, iPod docking stations, and either a porch with hammock and small plunge pool, or a private balcony and indoor Jacuzzi-bath. There are only four rooms featuring twin beds, and they can only be requested, and not guaranteed.

The hotel only accepts children over 13 years old, and features a great restaurant, small outdoor swimming pool, free Wi-Fi and the use of complimentary bikes. The hotel has a spa across the road which is a haven of tranquility, offering a variety of treatments, hot and cold pools and daily yoga.

The town of Tulum and its famous ruins are a 15-minute taxi ride away, and there is a growing selection of restaurants along the Boca Paila road should you wish to venture further afield.

OUR OPINION:

This hotel is a little more secluded than most and is a really lovely, beautifully designed beachfront option in Tulum. The hotel does gear itself more toward young couples and feels very modern but we really like the rooms here and the beach is simply stunning.
