Found in the banks of the Sabie River in southern Kruger, Lower Sabie Rest Camp is a wonderful place where accommodation is in lovely old en suite thatched bungalows, several of which enjoy the splendid views across the river.
The main camp has a good restaurant and shopping area, with wooden decking perched on the river banks. Sweeping wide lawns surround the bungalows and there is also a swimming pool where you can cool off in the hot afternoons. Densely wooded areas and open grasslands scattered with knobthorn acacias surround the camp. The rest camp has all the amenities required including daily servicing of bungalows, as well as an on-site shop and restaurant.
