Kahanda Kanda is one of Southern Sri Lanka's newest boutique hotels. The property is situated in a 12 acre plantation near the coast, 15 km from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Galle, and overlooks Koggala Lake. There are seven air-conditioned suites with panoramic views of palm fringed jungle and tea plantations. Each room has stylish, spacious interiors while the comfortably furnished Dining and Living Pavillions are decorated with antiques and are separated by lily ponds. The terrace next to the 20 m infinity pool offers the opportunity for sun bathing while mountain biking, water sports and tea factory visits are available for the more energetic. The enigmatic owner and host, George Cooper, can advise on things to do, or leave you to your own devices to simply relax and enjoy your beautiful surroundings.
