Kahanda Kanda

Kahanda Kanda is situated in a 12 acre plantation near the coast, 15 km from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Galle, and overlooks Koggala Lake.

There are 12 air-conditioned suites (7 of these now have private pools) with panoramic views of palm fringed jungle and tea plantations. Each room has stylish, spacious interiors while the comfortably furnished Dining and Living Pavilions are decorated with antiques and are separated by lily ponds.

The terrace next to the 20 m (66 ft) infinity pool offers the opportunity for sunbathing, while mountain biking, water sports and tea factory visits are available for the more energetic. The enigmatic owner and host, George, can advise on things to do or leave you to your own devices to simply relax and enjoy your beautiful surroundings.
