Nestled in the heart of Zion Canyon along the Virgin River, Cliffrose stands out as one of the most comfortable places to stay in Springdale. Arranged among trees and on the river’s edge, the rooms, suites and villas are spread across this natural setting, giving it the feel of a boutique resort. The Cliffrose Café and Bar offers the option of lunch or light dinners, with the opportunity to eat out on the terrace.

The property is perfect for couples and families looking for a good range of facilities and amenities while still being among the rugged landscape of Springdale and Zion Canyon.

OUR OPINION:

This property really impressed us with its modern touches and natural setting. Its excellent location just a short walk from the park entrance means you can leave the car and use the shuttle service to access the major points throughout Zion Canyon. The spacious rooms and shady spots within its beautiful gardens make perfect places in which to relax after exploring the park.

Rooms

The lodge offers a wide range of room options to suit a variety of visitors. You can choose to have a canyon or riverside view, with rooms coming with a king size bed or two queen size beds. There are also one or two bedroom suites offering more space, making them suitable for families. All rooms have outdoor areas with seating and bistro eating areas. They also feature two or more TVs, microwaves, refrigerators and coffee makers. For larger groups of up to ten guests, the three bedroom Canyon Villas are more spacious and come with an excellent range of amenities for a real home-away-from-home feel.

Location

Situated in attractive manicured lawns among flower gardens, large shady trees and towering evergreens, the hotel lies less than 200 meters away from Zion National Park's visitor center and park shuttle. Best of all, the amazing views of the surrounding peaks of Zion National Park surround you wherever you are on the property.

Food and drink

The Cliffrose Café and Bar is a great place to enjoy lunch or a light dinner with a beautiful view. Alternatively, there are many other dining options in Springdale, with the Spotted Dick being one of the locals' favorites, just a short walk away.

Families

This is a great place for families to enjoy time together in a natural environment, with nearly all the rooms catering for four or more people. Many of the rooms also have cooking facilities and more than one bathroom.

In addition to the wealth of adventure activities and walking available in the national parks, the hotel has a seasonal heated outdoor pool and hot tub, barbecue grills and fire pits for guest use, and a riverside beach.
