Chatham Bars Inn Resort & Spa
The award-winning Chatham Bars Inn Resort & Spa was built in 1914 as a semi-private hunting lodge, and its hub, the Main Inn, has been beautifully restored to provide Chatham visitors a sophisticated place to stay, with original features such as the grand staircase retaining the property's charm and elegance. Families can enjoy the beach and pool areas, while adults looking for a quieter retreat can relax in the resort's extensive spa. The Main Inn’s restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with beautiful views across the ocean, or guests can dine right by the beach at the Beach House restaurant.

Chatham’s main street is just a ten walk away, where guests can enjoy a variety of bars and restaurants.
Food and drink
The resort's bar, the Sacred Cod, offers cosy tables in a traditional New England style where guests can enjoy cocktails and appetizers before a meal. STARS is the Main Inn's primary restaurant, which offers superb views of the ocean. All food is locally-sourced and STARS provides guests with a great selection of fine wines. The Beach House serves lunch and summer dinner and is a wonderful place to relax by the pool and beach while enjoying freshly caught seafood.
There's a wealth of family activity options at the Chatham Bars Inn; in addition to bicycle hire, local boat trips and whale watching tours, the resort also features facilities for tennis, croquet and volleyball. The pool and private beach are great for families, and during the summer months the resort offers children’s activities through their Camp CBI programme along with family theme nights at the Beach House. Many of the hotel's suites have an additional queen size bed to accommodate families.
Facilities and activities
The resort offers a 24 hour fitness centre, a spa, tennis courts, a croquet court, a private beach and a heated outdoor pool by the ocean. In addition, it offers a number of water-based activities, including canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding.
