Itinerary idea in detail

Ask us if you would also like us to arrange your international flights at our preferred rates.

  • Arrive in Lusaka and connect onto a light aircraft flight to Mfuwe. Upon arrival, a driver will meet you and drive you through the small town to your lodge on the banks of the Luangwa River. This evening, a night drive is an excellent time to look for leopards and other predators who use the cover of darkness to hunt their prey.

  • Morning safaris depart just after sunrise, crossing the river into the national park with your guide and embarking on a three-hour game drive to explore the lagoons and plains in search of a multitude of wildlife, including elephants, zebras, buffalos, giraffes, leopards, and lions. Return to the lodge for lunch and a dip in the refreshing pool.

  • This morning, you could try a walking safari. The South Luangwa is well known for its well-trained guides, who specialise in exploring the park on foot, offering a chance to get closer to smaller animals and learn about their habitats.

  • This morning, you could enjoy a morning bush walk, followed by an afternoon safari continuing until after dark to see some of the amazing nocturnal game. Night drives are an excellent time to spot leopards and other predators that use the cover of darkness to hunt their prey.

  • Today you will be transferred from the camp to the airport for your light aircraft flight to Livingstone via Lusaka. You can stop at a local craft and textile market to pick up some handmade souvenirs on the way to the airport. In Livingstone, a driver will meet you for the journey to your next riverside lodge. Head out onto the Zambezi River for a sunset river cruise.

  • A full day at leisure to explore Victoria Falls and the surrounding areas. There are numerous activities to enjoy in the region, including guided nature walks, a tour of the falls, fishing, rhino tracking, or a village visit.

  • The Victoria Falls region is known for its adrenaline activities. Take to the skies in a helicopter or microlight for an aerial view of the falls, the Zambezi River, and Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Alternatively, you can walk across the Victoria Falls Bridge into Zimbabwe to gain a different perspective of the Zambezi gorges.

  • Enjoy a leisurely riverside breakfast before your transfer to the airport to commence your journey home.
