I first traveled to Australia on a study abroad program in college and fell in love with the wildlife, food scene, beaches, nature, and people. The unique experiences that come with being immersed in another country’s culture and way of life fulfill me like nothing else.
One of my favorite memories from traveling in Australia would have to be exploring Kangaroo Island. From the white sand beaches filled with wild sea lions to the rocky coastlines, it’s truly such a special place to visit. There’s something so unique about this country that continues to bring me back, as you can have a completely different experience each time you go. I’ve also had the opportunity to visit Tasmania, the Flinders Ranges and the Great Barrier Reef.

What's your best piece of travel advice?
My best piece of travel advice is to embrace the local culture when you’re in a new place, as it allows you to fully experience the country you’re in. Try the local cuisine, visit areas off the beaten path and immerse yourself in the customs of that country. This will make your travel experience so unique, and you’ll come back with countless stories to tell your friends and family.
Where would you like to travel to next?
When it comes to future travels, I’m always thinking about where I want to go to next. At the top of my list right now is Patagonia, Argentina. I’d love to spend some time hiking through the mountains there and taking in spectacular views.
What's the one thing you always pack?
When it comes to essential packing items, these three are a must for me: ear plugs for the long flight; a portable charger for emergencies; and a small handheld camera for capturing my favorite moments.
