Luckett Vineyard

Vineyards tour, Wolfville

Luckett Vineyard

Take a sip of locally produced wine from three vineyards on a guided tour of the Annapolis Valley.

The Annapolis Valley is a growing premier wine region in Canada that isn’t particularly explored. Wolfville is close to many of the premium wineries, and the best way to visit them is on a guided tour, so you don’t have to worry about driving afterwards. This small group tour is led by a knowledgeable local guide and visits three award-winning wineries for wine tasting and lunch.

Some of the wineries you may visit include Blomidon Estates, Domain de Grand Pre, Lightfoot and Wolfville, and Luckett Vineyard. The latter is set on a hill overlooking the Gaspereau Valley and is widely regarded as one of the best in the region. You’ll be granted a tour of the property, admiring the vines and learning about the different production methods, followed by a tasting. Take a sip of sparkling wine, rosé, one of the many distinctive varieties of Tidal Bay, or a medium-bodied red.

A two-course lunch will be served at either a popular local eatery or a vineyard, depending on the weather, and you can relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. The total duration is around four and a half hours. Private tours can also be arranged with a maximum of six people.
