All the accommodations at Silversands have been designed to capture the essence of nature, with floor-to-ceiling windows letting in maximum light, beds positioned for the optimum view and exquisite outdoor dining terrace.
Décor is white, clean and modern with wood and rattan featuring heavily to draw nature indoors. King bed rooms have garden and ocean views to choose from, while Penthouse Kings are situated at the highest level for the most amazing ocean views from the terrace.
There are a wide range of one, two and three bedroom suites, which are an excellent choice for families and have stunning private terraces and gorgeous views.
Rooms and suites all have complimentary Wi-Fi, speakers, espresso machine, electronic mosquito nests, hairdryer, bathroom toiletries and bottled water.
The stunning Grand Anse beach, is one of the top beaches in the world and Silversands guests can easily walk along her two miles of soft white sand to find many other restaurants, shops and bars. Guests arrive from Maurice Bishop Airport, which is just a 10 minute drive from the resort. The closest main town is St. Georges, which is a 12 minute drive away.
Food and drink
There is a huge variety of flavours on offer at the hotel’s two main restaurants. Asiatique is a fusion between Grenadian spices and Asian cooking methods to pay tribute to vibrant dishes originating from Southeast Asia. Dishes can be paired with delicious wines from their 1000 bottle wine cellar or a funky signature cocktail.
Alfresco dining and views over the ocean come hand in hand at the Grenadian Grill. Locally caught seafood is served in Mediterranean inspired dishes on a sunny terrace right on Grand Anse beachfront. Stargaze with a delicious post dinner drink at the rooftop Beach lounge, where guests can enjoy a light lunch, and a stunning wine list. Puro celebrates local culture with a rum and cigar menu from the world’s finest distilleries.
The resort is not traditionally orientated for children, so there is no kids’ club or specific child friendly activities available, but they are welcome at the hotel. The large multi-room suites and villas are most suited for those travelling with children.
Facilities and activities
Silversands onsite gym offers a sauna, ice cave, hammam, hair and nail bar, alongside an extensive menu of spa treatments and locally inspired rituals. There is a fitness centre, well equipped with machines and guests can improve their tennis skills with professional coaching and offsite yoga classes can be arranged.
The hotel is not easily accessible for wheelchair users.
Environmental and social responsibility
All the fruit and vegetables for the restaurants are sourced from the Grenada Network of Rural Woman Producers, and there is an onsite garden to grow sustainable local produce.
Set on the stunning Grand Anse beach with a pool that stretches down to the sea, we think Silversands is perfect for a relaxing couple’s break and is a special honeymoon destination. The rooms are modern in design with stunning floor to ceiling glass windows, really letting the surrounding Caribbean countryside in.
