Clara

Global Travel Advisor

Being able to explore vibrant markets, hike remote mountain trails, and swim in the world’s diverse seas has always sparked my sense of adventure and deepened my passion for travel. So far, I’ve had the privilege of visiting over 60 countries, with recent highlights including Brazil and Japan.

Travel, for me, is a constant learning experience. I love how it immerses you in new cultures, languages, and perspectives. As a Spanish speaker, I’m especially fond of Latin America — Mexico, where I spent a month, completely won me over with its people, scenery, food, and culture.

Since April 2024, I’ve been working as a Global Travel Advisor at Audley. I truly enjoy helping clients discover their next adventure. I always say there’s no “right” or “wrong” destination — it’s about finding the one that best fits your interests, the time of year, and the kind of experience you’re looking for. And who knows — your second favorite destination might just be the perfect choice for your next vacation.

Q&A with Clara

Sashimi

What's the best local dish you’ve tasted?

I absolutely love fish, and this dish was a standout. The combination of fresh tuna sashimi, a crispy tostada base, a touch of avocado, and bold Mexican spices made it unforgettable. It’s such a simple dish, but the balance of textures and flavours was just perfect — fresh, zesty, and full of character.

Petra

What's your most vivid travel moment?

Walking through the narrow, winding Siq and arriving at the majestic entrance to the ancient Nabatean city of Petra, was truly an awe-inspiring moment. Seeing the Treasury slowly reveal itself between the towering canyon walls felt like stepping into a lost world — it completely took my breath away. And to make the moment even more surreal, I unexpectedly ran into family friends

Mount Kilimanjaro National Park

Where would you love to travel next?

I’ve been fortunate to explore many parts of the world, but I’ve never experienced a classic African safari — and that’s something I’m eager to change. The idea of seeing the Big Five in their natural habitat, surrounded by the beauty of the Serengeti or Ngorongoro Crater, is incredibly exciting. I’m also drawn to the challenge of hiking Mount Kilimanjaro, and I’d finish the trip with some well-earned relaxation on the beaches of Zanzibar. It’s the perfect mix of adventure, wildlife, and ocean escape.
