Jamaica beach & rainforest escape

Today, you may wish to spend a few hours floating along the Rio Grande on a traditional bamboo raft, taking in the tropical rainforest scenery as you go. Along the way, your guide will explain the history and culture of the area, as well as pointing out different plants along the banks and their various uses. You’ll also have the chance to pause for a refreshing swim. Halfway along the journey, you have the option to stop for an authentic Jamaican meal on the riverbank.

Today, you may wish to experience Dunn's River Falls and The Blue Hole. Dunn's River Falls is a spectacular waterfall on the White River near Ocho Rios, where cold mountain water cascades 300 meters down naturally terraced steps. Dunn's River Falls stands as a living testament to Jamaica’s natural beauty and is the most popular of Jamaica's waterfalls, attracting millions of visitors each year. You'll then visit the Blue Hole, also known as 'Cool Blue Hole', a natural limestone sinkhole near Ocho Rios. A deep cavern within the tropical mountains of Jamaica, the Blue Hole gets its name from the deep azure hue of the water and attracts cliff divers, nature lovers, and thrill-seekers of all varieties.

You may wish to relax on the beach today or, alternatively, take an optional trip to Kingston. Here, you’ll have the chance to visit the former home of Bob Marley, along with the historical village of Port Royal and the National Gallery. Once you’ve explored Kingston, you’ll be driven out to the Blue Mountains just outside the city. As well as taking in the fresh air and views over the forested peaks, you’ll have an opportunity to sample the world-renowned coffee that’s produced in this part of Jamaica as your guide explains the coffee-making process from bean to brew.

After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, you’ll meet your driver and take a private transfer along Jamaica's northern coast to your hotel in Montego Bay. After checking in, you’ll have the evening to relax, perhaps take a stroll along the long stretches of white-sand beach and dip your toes in the warm water.

Spend the day relaxing at your hotel. Bask in the sunshine near the infinity pool or take a dip in the crystal-clear waters, exploring the sea life by snorkeling on the reef. Why not take advantage of the wide array of water sports available, including tubing, waterskiing, windsurfing, kayaks and Hobie Cats?

There’s an option today to explore the green hills of Saint Ann on a guided tour of a family-run farm. You’ll explore the grounds on foot with your hosts, learning about the local produce, before sitting down to a seven-course plant-based menu out on the terrace.

Another day to make the most of your luxurious hotel in Montego Bay and the white-powdered beaches. Why not start the morning with a yoga class, followed by a relaxing massage at the spa, as you listen to the Caribbean waters lapping the shore?

You’ll have most of the day at leisure to enjoy the beach before being transferred to Montego Bay Airport in time for your international flight home.
