Eulophélia

Eulophélia, Andasibe National Park (Perinet), Madagascar

Eulophelia Lodge is a lovely lodge, located 30 minutes drive south of Andasibe National Park along a very bumpy and dusty dirt track.

The lodge contains 10 standard chalets as well as six newer bungalows. The lodge is small, well kept and clean and offers a simple place to relax and unwind after a days walking in the forest. The standard chalets are well spaced and made of palissandre wood; all of them are simple, have mosquito nets and en suite bathrooms with hot running water.

The newer brick and wood bungalows offer some of the largest and most spacious accommodation in the area and are well worth upgrading to. Please note, however, that electricity at the lodge is only currently available between 6-10pm so please ensure you take a torch!

There is also a very large lounge and dining area at the main lodge with a large veranda, on which meals can be taken in the evenings. What this restaurant and lounge lacks in atmosphere it makes up in setting and the large veranda and huge windows offer some lovely views of the forest.
