Arrowtown House

Just a two-minute stroll from the shops, art galleries and cafés of the quaint, cobbled streets of Arrowtown, this hotel is set in the original church grounds on a tree-lined avenue, with pretty flower-filled gardens. Accommodation is in beautifully furnished self-contained suites, complete with all facilities, but breakfast is usually served in the main house. Set in landscaped gardens, featuring a large Catalpa Bignonioides (Indian bean tree), which flowers in January, rhododendrons in November, and fall colors, Arrowtown House offers year-round interest for the garden lover.

The accommodation is separate from the house, ensuring guest privacy. Each of the guest rooms includes a lounge area, fridge, microwave, phone, fax and modem and its own washer/dryer. The five spacious guest rooms provide mountain and garden views, and three open to verandas or private courtyard gardens. Your hosts Jeanette and Steve are extremely welcoming and they are well known for their sumptuous breakfasts and excellent local knowledge.
