Ellie

US & Canada Specialist

I’ve always been drawn to travel that goes beyond the obvious. My childhood vacations focused on more offbeat locations, meeting local people, and experiencing destinations in an authentic way. That early perspective shaped how I see the world, and it’s something I carry into every trip I design at Audley.

My passion deepened while studying languages at university, which opened the door to different cultures, and continues to inspire my own travels. Over time, this naturally led me to explore North America. I began my career with Audley in 2017, working in the US team and, over the years, expanding my knowledge into Canada, a country whose natural beauty, diverse people, and complex history never fail to impress.

The joy I get from my work comes from designing journeys that reflect what matters most to my clients, creating a truly personal itinerary, and hearing all about their incredible experiences and memories, which are the parts of the vacation that truly last a lifetime.

Nashville skyline

I recommend visiting - Nashville, South

What makes Canmore so special is that it perfectly balances the beautiful Rocky Mountains with more local, small-town charm. From Canmore, you can easily find dramatic mountain peaks, stunning lakes, and endless outdoor adventures, while making the most of the town's incredible hospitality at its restaurants, bars, art galleries, and independent shops. It's one of my favorite places as you don't get the crowds like in the nearby town of Banff, yet it’s just as breathtaking, so you really have an opportunity to relax as well as explore. For me, it's the ideal place to base yourself in this area of the Rockies while enjoying an authentic Canadian experience.

I recommend staying at - Wedgewood Hotel & Spa, Canada

First Class

In a city full of hotel choices, I'm drawn to the Wedgewood Hotel thanks to its perfect blend of personal service and undeniable character. From the moment you’re greeted at this property, you can feel the genuine warmth from the team, their outstanding service, and its timeless design. The location is fantastic for exploring Vancouver as it’s in the heart of the downtown area, and food lovers should definitely make time to have dinner at its Michelin-starred restaurant. For me, this isn't just a 'somewhere to sleep' experience, it’s refined and sophisticated while still offering a personal and homely touch.

I'll never forget when…

A highlight for me was when I first drove through the Rocky Mountains. Every bend in the road gave a new perspective on the mountains, the sky, and the lakes. It was absolutely breathtaking. So much so, no one in the car said a word as we peacefully absorbed the views around us.
