Ulagalla Resort is a beautifully restored mansion estate, set amidst acres of woodland and paddy fields, that's perfectly located to explore nearby Anuradhapura and other ancient cities nearby.
The mansion itself now serves as the main dining area and has views out over the large swimming pool and paddy fields, with the individual chalets dotted around the 58 acres. Each chalet is luxurious and spacious with a private plunge pool.
For those who are more adventurous the resort offers horse riding, birdwatching, and kayaking on the Ulagalla Reservoir.
