Owned by Ken and Bonnie and managed on their behalf (although they live next door), the lovely Darwin House is a clean and tidy bed and breakfast-style establishment. Rooms are spacious, some rooms are en suite others have shared bathrooms.
Virtually self-sufficient for everything from food to power, Ken and Bonnie are fantastic hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the Falklands — sitting down in the evening and chatting to them is truly a pleasure. From the lodge you can walk along the coast to Goose Green or even play the short pitch and putt golf course, although you should be wary of losing balls in the diddle-dee.
